Wedding Proposal in a Private Cenote
What’s included in the package
Exclusive rent of the venue
This cenote is a private cenote which is still in the hands of a local family. For our proposals they allow us to rent the venue exclusively so you can be sure that no unwanted visitors will appear.
Guided Ritual
There will be someone from our team awaiting you in order to guide you through the first nervous minutes of your proposals. This ritual helps to arrive on the site, to breathe together and sink into the moment. Then you’re gonna have your big moment without any rush.
Decoration & Bubbles
For this package we provide a decent and authentic decoration that will await you on arrival based on your taste. this can be rose petals on the floor or a bouquet of flowers. Additionally, there will be a bottle of sparkling wine and some fruits.
Safe Transportation
Since the cenote is a bit outside of Tulum you will be picked up from home and brought to the private cenote – and also brought back home by a trustworthy professional driver.
Professional Photographer
Part of this package is a professional photographer who will hide and capture this unique moment. We only work with photographers who value authenticity.

4pm to 4:30pm: Drive to cenote
To make it a surprise, you can tell your partner that you’d like to see a beautiful cenote outside of town which you found online. Our driver picks you up from your hotel and bringst you to the destination of the cenote. Please note that the package only includes pick-ups from Tulum down town and beach zone. In case you stay further away, we need to charge an extra cost.
This is how you can imagine it
5pm to 6pm: Arriving and proposal
Right where your driver will leave you, one of us will await you and pretend that we’re a tour guide. We’ll bring you to the cenote where everything will be beautifully decorated according to your taste for your proposal. Here our guide takes the lead and gives ou some minutes to ground together and settle into the moment so you can propose in a beautiful framework. After, we open a bottle of champaign or alcohol-free beverage to click glasses.
6pm to 6:40pm: Professional photo shooting
The photographer will be capturing your arrival and the proposal. After the moment and clicking glasses, you’ll have some time for couple photos at the cenote. Please note that we only work with photographers who value authentic photos and will never make you strike a pose if you don’t feel like.
6:40pm to 5pm: Drive back home
After the proposal and the photo shooting is done, the driver will pick you up again and bring you safely to your hotel so that you still have time for some celebration in the evening.

Capture every heartfelt moment with a professional videographer who will document your entire journey, from the proposal to the celebration. With their skill and discretion, you'll receive a beautifully crafted film that lets you relive this unforgettable day. It’s the perfect keepsake to share with loved ones for years to come.

We work with traditional and mayan elders who lead engagement ceremonies with prayers, burning incense and giving blessings for your future.
Duration: 1,5 hours.
Extra cost: 300 USD.

You can book a cacao ceremony. Here we work with a person that uses the cacao for ceremonial purposes. It will be prepared in an ancient way and drunk together. Cacao is known to open the heart and soften us.
Duration: 1 hour.

Next to the cenote we work with (which is an open cenote), there’s a cave cenote which is closed. This is a true adventure for the wild souls. Here you’ll go down into the cave with a guide and can explore the cave before you get to your proposal venue.
Duration: 1,5 hours

The package includes some decent and authentic decoration such as rose petals or a flower bouquet. If you want to level up, we can decorate a big flower arch with flowers so you can propose in front of it. Hit us up for photos of examples!

Of course you can. The time schedule is just an example to give you a feel for the day. We can work according to your wishes.

Yes, that’s also possible. If you want to bring in an own idea, we can easily tie it into the package. Also, if you want to leave out the photographer or the driver (because you have an own car f.e.) we can adjust that. The package and how we created it is just a frame and we’re very open to hear your ideas!

After you’ve filled the contact form and sent us your text, we’ll get in touch within two working days. Normally we try to set up a call so we can discuss your ideas and create a package that suits your needs.

After we figured out all the details, we’ll send you a payment request via Wise or PayPal. If you don’t have any of both, don’t worry, we’ll find a solution.

Yes, this package includes somebody from BOW & ARROW being on spot for you in order to bring you to the cenote and guide you through your proposal.
